We recently had a dentist refer a patient to Jewish Free Loan, for financial assistance to cover the expense of required dental work. It is very gratifying to discover that more professionals, in service positions, are aware of our role in the community and feel comfortable referring people to us. One of our goals is to expand awareness within the local network of professionals; informing them of the assistance we can provide to their clients and patients.
As a member of the community, we would like to garner your support in building awareness of the assistance provided by Jewish Free Loan. You can help us network by simply letting your doctors, dentists and accountants know about our organization. We can provide you with business cards to leave with professionals you regularly visit, which they can then pass on to their clients.
Many years ago, there was a project we where working on which was similar to this. A respected leader in the community named the project ‘Each One Reach One’. In the same manner, it only takes a minute of your time to reach someone and build awareness for our organization. However, that minute may mean the world to someone who could benefit from one of our interest-free loans.
Thank you for considering this suggestion. The next time you meet with a professional provider, remember to let them know that Jewish Free Loan is here for the benefit of the community.

year ago my landlord’s property was foreclosed on and I had to move on short notice so I rented what seemed to be a lovely apartment. It soon turned into a nightmare with flooding and then noisy neighbors moved in. Shortly after, I started experiencing health problems and wasn’t sleeping well at night. While I work two jobs, there was not enough income to cover the cost of a mover and a security deposit. After looking for five months, I was able to find a quiet place to rent and the landlord was willing to have me pay the security deposit over time. Now I i just had to raise the funds for the movers. It only took one phone call and assistance was on its way. There are not enough words to express my gratitude to the Jewish Free Loan and to the many individuals who open their hearts and give to such a worthy organization.
